Young House Lovin'

Yesterday I had so much fun at the blogging seminar that I attended with featured speakers, John and Sherry, from Young House Love.  They have got to be the cutest couple ever!  (As seen below in the postcards that they had for us after their presentation.  Hey look, they signed it too.)

~ PS If you don't know about Young House Love, jump on over to their blog and check them out.  They blog about their adventures in fixing up their house.  Not to mention they're pretty entertaining too.

There were so many entertaining things that happened during the presentation, even some that happened before hand, that I really couldn't tell you what was my favorite.  So I will list a few of the things that I found most entertaining.  Like just as John and Sherry were getting ready to start their presentation the TV display went black.

See, here the TV is on.  (Sorry John, I had a few pictures of this moment, but Sherry was the one that said don't make her look bad.  So I got you getting ready to drink some water.)  Sherry looks likes she's checking up on YHL comments.  Work, Work, Work.  No rest even when away from home.  :(

Then 'blink', out went the picture right as they were starting.  (And no, Sherry is not pregnant.  She even lifted her jacket and showed us.  Apparently a lot of people have been making that comment to her.)  "Sherry, I thought you looked super cute in your trench."

Next favorite moment is tough, because I have no video, or picture, for it.  (Damn I wish I would have thought of videoing this one.  I was trying really hard not to laugh out loud every time it happened.)  Throughout the presentation when Sherry wanted to talk she would just reach over and grab the mic out of John's hand.  It was hilarious, because she would do it even if was in the middle of saying something.  (They did mention that Sherry is a talker.  Aw a girl after my own heart.  Or is that mouth?  Lol.)

Also there was the moment that they both apologized for their outfits matching.  Followed with the mornings reenactment when they realized it, but couldn't do anything about it.  (They also mentioned that they were dorks.  I love that, because I say that about me and my husband all the time.  Plus I love the word 'dork'.)

The rest of the seminar went off without a hitch, and I got the opportunity to briefly chat with them at the end of the seminar and get my picture with them and the group of attendees.

Hey that's me under that RED arrow (just in case you didn't notice) with John, Sherry, and fellow attendees.

Then there's my one to one picture with them.  (Man I have to say I was a totally dork when speaking to them.  You'd of thought I lost my mind.  I totally didn't know what to say, and felt like I was taking up too much of their time, because there was a line of others behind me wanting to chat with them too.  Oops.)  Hopefully I will get a chance again to chat with them, and not be so nerdy.

Have a great day.

(Little note for John and Sherry if you ever get a chance to read this.  Here's to making a lasting impression.  To John, I was the only person looking directly at the camera when you took your photo of the attendees, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  (Yay, you know what I mean. Lol.)  To Sherry, lactose intolerance.  Yep, you said and it stuck.  But we'll always have a good laugh about it.  Love you guys.
