This is a headboard that I am assuming was from a hotel/motel that I am going to make into a lovely upholstered headboard. Want to know how much this cost? $4. Yep, you read that right. It only cost $4, but it's going to look like a million dollars when I'm done. (Ok, maybe a few hundred, but you get the gist.)
Then there are these 2 beauts.
The top pic is of a 4 x 12 tile in gorgeous matte latte color for only $0.22 per tile. (Are you kidding me? Nope.) The bottom pic are 2 x 8 tiles in a lovely taupe color that were (wait for it) $0.10 each. I paid a total of $10.30 for 75 tiles. These are great tiles for a quarter of what they would cost even at To the Trade places. But wait, there's one more.
These amazing latte glass tiles in clear glass finish and opaque glass finish. They are 1/4 x 24 (individually) tiles that was only $15 for a whole box of them. 42 clear and 16 opaque. (Sometimes the universe is just working in my favor. I love it when that happens.)
Now I bet you are wondering what I might be doing with these tiles. Well I'll tell you. The 1/4 x 24 and the 4 x 12 are going in my kitchen. (I have been living too long, longer than I would like to admit (2 years) without a back-splash in my kitchen and master bathroom. (That's where the 4 x 12 tiles are going. The master bath.) I still have to find a few decorative pieces before install, but I am so excited. (Just in case you were wondering.)
The kitchen tiles we will be installing soon, but the bathroom ones have to wait until I find mirrors that will fit. (Long story, will share when I get closer to completing that project.)
Anyway, stay tuned for upcoming pictures of above projects. I can't wait to get them going.
Have a great day!
